FUSE is a Toronto-based arts and culture quarterly that publishes at the intersection of contemporary art and social justice. FUSE represents a diverse community of visual and performing artists, educators, community workers, writers, activists, organizers, policy makers, social thinkers, curators and other movers and shakers.

FUSE is a site of discussion, dissemination and mobilization. With a 35-year publishing record, we play a pinnacle role in providing reporting, documentation and critical thinking on socially and politically engaged arts practices. With a focus on visual and media art, and a strong emphasis on the diverse communities that make up the contemporary Canadian art world, FUSE aims to advance fruitful interchange between politics and cultural production. Our mission is to publish artwork and writing that engages and critiques the roles, actions and implications of artists and the arts in social movements. Each smartly-designed, full-colour issue contains a vibrant mix of essays, opinion, interviews, reviews and projects.
